We’ll uncover how yoga comes alive for YOU—because your unique relationship to the practice is what makes it meaningful. From that foundation, you’ll explore how it can be fostered into sharing with others.
Through a diverse curriculum rooted in multiple wisdom lineages and perspectives, we honor that there’s no single “right” way to move, think, feel or teach. Instead, we offer a broad lens to help you find your own honest expression.
This training isn’t about memorizing rules—it’s about deepening your relationship with yoga and discovering how to share it authentically with others. We invite you to take it personally… in the best way!
We honor the roots of yoga while embracing its evolving forms, offering devotion without dogma, which creates ample space for authenticity and expression.
Moving beyond rigid formulas and rote learning, we blend the grounded insights of neuroscience, trauma-informed principles, and social equity with the heart opening potency of mythology, Buddhism, and the reverence of Bhakti. We aim to create an inclusive, deep and playful exploration of yoga’s vast potential.
Begin at your own pace—with immediate access upon registration—to video lectures, embodied practices, and thoughtful email support from your teachers. You’ll enter through the gateway of anatomy, exploring both structure and sensation, and wander through a 60+ posture library that brings the poses to life.
This is time to root into the foundations, so that when we meet live, we arrive on shared ground—ready to deepen together.
– Hala Khouri
Part 2 builds upon our foundational knowledge as we begin to bring it all to life! Meet live with Cole, Jacq, and our guest faculty as we deepen our understanding, exploration, and begin to use our voices in community. Through discussion, practice, live lectures, group work, and more, you’ll gain the skills and confidence to connect authentically with your practice and step into the role of facilitator.

This is where philosophy meets lived experience. You’ll take your studies off the page and into your own body, life, and voice—through deep self-inquiry and skill-building for authentic, purposeful facilitation. Cole, Em, and Kimberly will be waiting for you in the fertile lands of Bali, where we’ll gather to move, reflect, and deepen into the embodied heart of the practice.
Our days will include morning sadhana, experiential workshops, rich philosophical exploration, and plenty of practice teaching.
15 Days/14 Nights
Our days will be full but fluid. We’ll gather a collective rhythm of study + rest.

Whether you plan to teach, are more interested in deepening your personal practice, or are somewhere in between, this training will be a rich and diverse investigation. You will leave equipped with the understanding of the fundamental roots of yoga, how they can support you on your path of life and studentship, as well as how to share it with others from the ever evolving seat of a teacher.
Not only will you get familiar with the foundational elements of this diverse practice, but we will also explore the wisdom and beauty of Bhakti yoga, Buddhism, social equity, Ayurveda, and trauma aware approaches to teaching.
You don’t need an advanced level of yoga practice to participate in the program, what you gain relies not on your physical experience or how flexible you are, but on the curiosity and the willingness you bring. We invite you to embark on what we hope is just the beginning of a life long exploration.
After waking up to Balinese bird song and the sun sharing its generous warmth, we’ll meander into the shala for our morning meditation and movement practice. We’ll break for tropical fruit, tea (and coffee don’t worry!) before coming back to delve into using our own voices in our daily practice teaching component, which is so vital for gaining fluency and confidence as a teacher.
After a big lunch and maybe a massage, we’ll gather again to immerse in lectures and group discussion, deepening understanding around holding space, philosophy and sequencing methodology. Then a sweet close to the day with a circle, dinner and time for rest and reflection.
