The Mindfulish method is intentionally designed to help students find freedom in their bodies and cultivate mindfulness in their breath and thoughts. Our framework serves as a blueprint—a starting point that always leads you somewhere new. The goal is embodiment, not mastering fancy postures, yet creativity remains at the heart of our approach. Learn to customize and think outside the box without overcomplicating things. We build on foundational knowledge, encouraging you to move beyond basic architecture and get your creative juices flowing. Embrace playfulness and color outside the lines to discover your unique expression.
Infusing the movement with heartfelt, real world, philosophy & musings is what sets the practice apart from any other movement practice. You’ll learn how to offer the mind meaningful contemplation that is then brought to life through movement, breathwork, mudras, chanting, and more In our 300hr training, we have more space to bring these details to life, adding just enough to be effective leaves students with a felt sense of the teachings they’ll take with them off the mat & into the world.
Grow an idea from a tiny seed into fruition with our guided personal vision project. Start anywhere you’d like & dream big! We’ll offer step by step guidance on how to get from idea to real life offering. Each student will have a 1:1 session with one of our teachers for personal mentorship on their project.

Explore the ecologies of both trauma & resilience and how each shows up individually, culturally & intergenerationally. Understanding our tender, dynamic & collective human experience allows for us to truly show up for one another with a ruthless sort of kindness. Embody trauma conscious teaching and utilize Internal Family Systems/ parts work as self exploration.
Soma invites you to become fluent in the language of your nervous system. This superpower cannot be understated! We will go deeper into the nuances of PolyVagal Theory & explore the potent wellspring of self, eco & community resourcing.
Looking through the lenses of both philosophy & science, you’ll uncover a holistic approach to craving, attachment & desire – aka suffering. We’re all recovering from something. Explore a reconnection & rediscovery with your innate wholeness through a compassionate view of our very human experience.
This forever relevant exploration embodies honesty & non-violence to support the investigation of social inequity & systems of oppression both on & off the mat. You’ll learn what it means to truly practice radical inclusion in the classroom, in life, in your minds & your heart.
Somatics guides us to a true embodiment as well as putting trauma & PolyVagal theory into practice! We’ll explore myriad methods of supporting the development of deep internal perception & the mind-body connection through movement, visualization & felt sense awareness. While asana is a somatic practice, we will cast a much wider net to include concepts & practices such as titration, pendulation, interoceptive resourcing & free movement to support ourselves as well as our students navigate the complex inner world of both safety & tension.

Story is a powerful way to bring to life what is hard to see but very human within us. Across time and place, mythology has been used as a way to help us understand and orient ourselves in our life’s journey. The purpose of storytelling is not to tell you how to think but to offer reflections with which to ponder. Connect and explore across many lineages, refining your skills in sharing stories and myths that resonate personally with your students. Story is a spiritual practice in itself, as well as a beautiful portal to meaning-making.
Learn to live, practice and teach in deep intimacy with nature and yourself through the ancient and often misunderstood wisdom of Tantra Yoga, one of yoga’s original paths and practices as art, science, healing, and liberation. In Sanskrit, Tantra means “weaving” or “interconnection.” It comes from the root tan, meaning “to extend” or “to expand.” It is a path of ritual and practice to awaken creative energy, or, shakti.. The objective of Tantric training is to transcend the barriers of duality: body and spirit, holy and unholy, dark and light, as a means to reveal our true Self. Tantra Yoga uses Asana, pranayama, mudras, mantra, and yantras as rituals to connect to Shakti in Her countless forms. We’ll explore the Dasha Maha Vidya Yoga (the yoga of the Ten Great Wisdoms) as the lens through which to practice.
Build a practice of devotion through awareness. Explore what lights you up – mantra, poetry, mudras, creative movement – it’s all welcome on the divine dance floor! This is about remembering joy and finding our own unique rhythm of reverence.
The potency of a quiet practice cannot be understated. Meet yourself within yourself, in these longer held poses, and stay a while. We’ll play with not only the poses but creative ways to hold these nurturing spaces including weaving in story! This practice is the medicinal antidote to much of our busy modern lives.
Rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine, meridian theory explores the concept of how Qi, life force energy, courses through the body. Learn to direct energy, promoting the flow of Qi, specifically to benefit the organs and nervous system in order to create yin classes with purpose!

We are in every moment nurturing something – whatever we practice grows. Either we are growing separation, judgment & fear or, at The Buddha’s encouragement, we could cultivate kindness, compassion, appreciation & a centered steadiness, aka the Brahma Viharas. These innate qualities take us deep into the limitless potential of the heart. We will also investigate the 3 Marks of Existence, which are the fundamental pillars of the nature of reality. Working with instead of against these foundations can create more harmony in our lives.
At the heart of Buddhist meditation is a quality of directed attention and investigation called sati, generally translated as “mindfulness.” Get intimate with the Buddha’s original contemplative invitations in the Four Foundations of Mindfulness and embark on an accessible, daily meditation practice while learning how to authentically lead meditations for others.
Maransati means “mindfulness of death”. It is potent practice, embracing life’s transience and death’s inevitability, though it is not as grim as it seems. Contemplate how taking in the reality of our finitude and facing the truth of death can support us to live deliberately, enhancing gratitude and unlocking a more vibrant and precious experience of life.

We meet bi-weekly on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays for our large group sessions. Peer study group sessions will meet biweekly on the Wednesdays we are not in our large group sessions. Your peer study group sessions will have two different meeting time options to accommodate your time zone.
Each module will have a few hours of recorded content to be delved into at your own time (within the given homework timeframe). Expect asana classes, tutorials, podcasts and short lectures that expand upon our live session material.
Sangha is at the heart of what we do! Work with your fellow teachers in your cohort to create classes, projects, and more while building relationships that bolster your love for teaching and study.
Share your inspiring classes and apply your new skills by teaching both within our cohort and to individuals outside of our training. You’ll have the flexibility to schedule your teaching sessions at your convenience, while still meeting your scheduled homework commitments.
Expect reading, personal practice, contemplation, journaling, class curation, and so much more. Our unique and best teachings always start with our own dedicated sadhana!

Not exactly. Very dedicated students are welcome to join on a per module basis pending approval. Please email us to schedule a short zoom meeting to learn more about you! Please note, KRAMA is open only to 200hr graduates and/or yoga teachers actively teaching. We love having mental health workers, therapists, and our fellow recovery community join us, expecially for SOMA.
This is hard to measure as everyone works at different speeds. We estimate that outside of our scheduled live zoom sessions and recorded lectures, you can expect to spend 2-5 hours per module on your homework. You will be busy AND we’ve structured our curriculum in a way to also make space for life!
Each module will vary slightly, but more than half of the training is always live. Being live together is extremely valuable so we utilize this format as much as possible. We know that everyone learns differently, so we aim to deliver our content and integration in varied ways.
To complete the course with your 300hr certificate, you must complete all required hours including lecture, homework, group work, and recorded lectures. You must have completed a 200hr training prior to be eligible for the 300hr certificate.
Absolutely! If you aren’t ready to sign up for the full course, you are welcome to join only the units that interest you or work for your schedule. You will still be eligible for your 300hr certificate if you choose to complete all hours/modules at your own pace. They do not have to be done concurrently.
You are responsible for attending all the live classes you are able to, but we know life is still happening outside of training and you’ll have space to make up hours you have missed. Please let us know ahead of time if you need to miss a session so that we can plan accordingly. You have 2 weeks after the course to complete any missing assignments and hours.
Absolutely! Our YTT can be paid for in bi-weekly or monthly installments after the non-refundable deposit. All payments must be completed at least 45 days before the course or module begins. Please reach out to us to set up a payment plan that works best for you.
YES! We want to make our training as accessible and inclusive as possible. If you want to attend, but cost is a real barrier, or you are experiencing disadvantage or hardship, you can apply for a scholarship. Our scholarships are for those in underserved, under-resourced, and underrepresented communities or situations, BIPOC, LBGTQ+, and those in early recovery or needing support in their recovery journey.

YES! Upon completion of this program, you will receive your certificate from The Mindfulish School recognizing your 300hrs of education in yoga teacher training. At this time, we have decided not to register our 300-hour program with Yoga Alliance. While they are often known as a regulatory body for yoga training, they function primarily as a registry. Unfortunately, their standards for approving or recognizing trainings are low and they do nothing to ensure training schools are teaching what they claim to. If Yoga Alliance were to enforce regulatory standards and do more for our community and industry than charge registration fees, we would consider partnering with them. We hope that one day Yoga Alliance will adopt and enforce higher standards. If you have any further questions, please feel free to reach out!
